We have made a great effort to ensure that the Court Fields Community School web site is as accessible as possible. Access keys are not provided, but the text can be easily resized in your web browser. The BBC My Web My Way page has more information on how to make websites easier to see.

The XHTML code and CSS has been validated for every page in order to ensure proper cross browser and platform compatibility. An alternative style sheet was designed in brown & white, following consultation with two visually impaired students. Javascript is required in order to select the alternative style sheet.

The footer of each page in the website contains links to test the conformance of each page to web standards in code (xhtml) presentation (ccs) and accessiblity (aaa) More information about web standards and why they are important.

Each page on the site passess the automated test for level Triple-A of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 and a link is provided to test this claim. The Find Us Calendar and Gallery pages depend on embedded content from external sources which may not be fully accessible.
